RAZORLIGHT RETURN WITH HOWLING BELLS AND THE AIRBORNE TOXIC EVENT


Razorlight are set to return to the UK this weekend, playing a one off show at Glasgow’s King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut.


The band will stop off at the Opera House in Buxton on Monday night, before playing The Assembly in Leamington Spa on Tuesday. On Thursday night Razorlight will step out on the stage at London’s O2 Arena for their first UK arena show of 2009, followed by a gig at Manchester’s MEN on Saturday (May 9th).


Singer Johnny Borrell says “It’s great to be onstage at the moment - the band are on really good form. We’re excited to be getting back and playing such special venues before we play these massive shows in London and Manchester”.


The arena shows next week will include performances from Australian band, Howling Bells (www.myspace.com/howlingbells) and The Airborne Toxic Event (www.myspace.com/theairbornetoxicevent) from Los Angeles. At Saturday night’s show in Glasgow and Buxton on May 4th, the band will be supported by Hatcham Social (www.myspace.com/hatchamsocial). Lucy Rose (www.myspace.com/lucyrosemusic) will support Razorlight at Leamington Spa on Tuesday 5th May.
